The Challenge
A leading communications company required testing of their dark fibre from Auckland to Wellington. There was a tight deadline for this work to be completed.
The Solution
With our optical spectrum analyser (OSA) testing was completed at various sites along the route, providing information on bandwidth. Our SDH/IP Platform tester provided information on data integrity along the entire route.
This involved a team of engineers working in a number of sites along the length of the North Island.
Key Results
The completed sectional tests were compiled and, with the SDH/IP Platform testing, provided end-to-end results for the communications company. These results confirmed the bandwidth required on these fibres could be successfully transported.
The project was completed on time and within budget.
